Initial Post Instructions
For the initial post, respond to one of the following options, and label the beginning of your post indicating either Option 1 or Option 2:
Option 1: The framers of the Constitution were concerned that everyday citizens would not be able to understand or comprehend the makings of our government. They felt that everyday citizens were uninformed and did not care what was going on in our government. Even today we see where citizens are interested in government affairs seemingly only if our country is in turmoil such as unemployment, recessions, civil unrest, etc. Do you agree with this assessment? Are we uninformed? Do we wait till a crisis happens to voice our opinions?
Option 2: Many experts see the media as biased and more like infotainment. In fact, many people have turned to social networks as an outlet for news instead of CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN and other news stations. Do you see this as an issue? Do you see the news as biased or unbiased? Should there be more restrictions on the news stations?
Be sure to make connections between your ideas and conclusions and the research, concepts, terms, and theory we are discussing this week.
Week 2 Discussion: Connection Between Our Culture and the News Media
Option 2:
The selected topic for this week’s discussion is based on the discussion about the biases of media. Therefore, in the case of a majority of Americans, 78% of the new organization is in favor of the political party to another level. In fact, in the case of the media bias which has become a joke within the country based on the Conservatives telling liberal Americans to turn off CNN while making liberal replies to refrain regarding Fox News. Therefore, in the case of the majority, the journalist was admitted to lean onward based on the party and lead about the Democrats on more numerous Republican counterparts (Hassell et al. 2020). Hence, these are delved into an issue that actually appears to be a less biased case to note on the media as compared to that of the American people who are believed to be, in the case of the majority, the Americans have been believing in media and learn about their favor on the Democrats while most of the journalist are actually liberal, as I mentioned, the majority based on the journalist to learn about the unnecessary ideology to determine the kinds of the news that is cover. This can be a result based on the media of self-policing to overview the managers and predict the actual management followed by news media.
Therefore, it is important to have a notice based on the journalist who works on the news agency that might have to tend to make a rise towards the stories that certainly create an interest for the readers. Moreover, I believe that something based on the possibility to consider media to be biased when the report is made on a biased note (Hassell et al. 2020). Alternatively, the publication is actually based on the conservative reading order on a general note in order to find the calculation that can be gravitated towards making up stories under the readership that would have been enjoyed. Thus, the ultimate consequences are mainly based on the detailed idea that television news is like an operating media, which has a goal to deal with profit, and on the other hand, it is the viewership. Hence, for instance, Fox News mainly offers a plethora of conservative notes that comment on the discussions which are made based on opinion, to learn something same so that reporting can be made based on the news media. Thus, 24/7 news is an easy thing based on the viewers or the readers who can be confused about the note to make a quick news forecast. Therefore, the news is often biased but they are entertaining, as we get immediate news through the means of Facebook or any other social media platform. Hence, all of us need to develop a recognition based on the understanding that can develop attention to learn from watching. Thus, opinions can be seen on the Facebook page of the different newspaper agencies or news channels, that incorporate a headline, that has the actual news.
