A management consultant said that strategic leaders are concerned with vision and mission, while strategic managers are concerned with strategy. Discuss whether or not you agree or disagree with this statement

A comparative analysis of Strategic leaders and strategic managers
Strategic leaders in an organization are responsible for developing the vision and achieving the mission of the company (Gupta, 2018, p.4). To understand the above statement better we need to analyze the terms vision and mission. The term vision represents the long-term outcome of the efforts put together by the company. On the other hand, by the term mission we mean, the very purpose of the company’s being.
The concept of strategic leadership involves looking beyond the strategy and taking into consideration the larger view comprising the vision and mission of the company. When we talk about strategic managers we mean the people responsible for setting the objectives of the organization. They are the best advisors regarding the achievement of goals and objectives and help executives with actionable plans.
Thus, I agree with the management consultant that strategic managers are concerned with strategies while strategic leaders dwell on the vision and mission of the firm.
