Select one of the following tools: the nine steps in Ackerman and Anderson’s roadmap for change, Cummings and Worley’s five dimensions of leading and managing change, or the three components of organizational change. Explain how a leader could use this tool in guiding an organizational change.

Tools of Organization Change

The three-component of organizational change are intent, people, and delivery. The leaders can use the tools in guiding the organizational change and they are stated below-

Intend- Leaders can use the aspect of the intent for developing a comprehensive plan which will impact the change. Implementing the specific aspect will be helpful to understand how the plan will take place and will help to build a connection with others and motivate the employees of the company as well. A plan is necessary to be made so that the work on the organization can be done properly and accordingly, be done. 

People- People are considered to be one of the most important components of organizational change. Organizational change can take place more often by interviewing, managing, recruiting, or assigning work to the people (Hanelt et al. 2021, p.1160). The development of the employees can take place by assigning them key positions like management head, supervisor, or departmental head. The main commitment is to protect the integrity of the organization and align the work to the people according to their knowledge. 

Delivery- The delivery of change can take place in the organization by empowering the specific position key to the organization’s change interference. Allowing all the members to work according to their position of authority and monitor their work or the result of their work and do a critical analysis of the changes. Incorporating meetings, seminars, and lunches so that continued focus on organizational change can take place.
