Week 5 Reflection Journal

This assignment is less formal than essays or other course writing assignments; however, each of your journal entries should still build a coherent narrative, use complete sentences, and be grammatically correct. Here are some things to consider when creating an engaging and informed journal entry:

What happens to us after we die? Is there a heaven and hell? If so, what lands someone in one place over the other, or does everyone ultimately land in heaven? Do we just die, and that’s it, only to become a pile of eternal compost? Do our bodies die, while our “energy” or “life force” lands in some other human or non-human life form, or maybe just float in space for all eternity? Can multiple answers to this question from multiple people all be equally valid?

Week 5 Journal

What happens to us after we die?

The question above is asked very often, and this is the question to which we always wanted to get a proper answer. Thus, it is acknowledged as one of the most complex questions hard to answer. Research on this topic, based on the philosophy mainly seeks the information stating that when we die, our spirit and the body get separated. Even though the body dies, the research mentioned that our spirit gets the essence of who we are and it lives on. Therefore, the spirit world is actually based on waiting a period until we receive the gift of resurrection. Therefore, as per our spirits, this would lead to reuniting the bodies. Thus, Biblical analysis mainly focuses on the fact made on the future resurrection that the body cannot die as it is perfectly free from pain, sickness, and all imperfections (Phillips et al. p. 254). Therefore, this is because of the infinite love given to all of us by Jesus Christ that all will be resurrected.

Is there a heaven and hell? If so, what lands someone in one place over the other, or does everyone ultimately land in heaven?

The references to heaven and hell are written in religious books. Hence, religious books apparently discuss the location of heaven which is the place for the people who have never done any sin and that good faith in their life. Apart from this, learning about hell is basically based on the religious topic, that dwells on a typical dark and fiery place. Hence, this place is amended with a dimension under the Earth’s surface. Therefore, this I basically based on the life after one is dead, which includes the purgatory or the underworld.

Bible states that whoever accepted Jesus as their personal savior, the one shall go the Heaven after death. Hence, Jesu spread the message that God is merciful, on all and one has to believe in the merciful God. Therefore, many pastors, scholars, and other believers on the basis of the Bible state that when a baby or a child passes away, they are eventually granted to enter the gate of Heaven.

Do we just die, and that’s it, only to become a pile of eternal compost?

One of the most common questions that has no proper answer to it. As in the previous answer, it has been narrated that whenever a baby dies, it reaches the gates of Heaven. Apparently, I think that as Shakespeare states the world is likely as a mere stage, where we are presented as mere players, who play their own roles and lastly have died and can develop themselves to be eternal compost. Therefore, I do think that we are mere humans, and yet when we die we a buried under the ground, so our bodies get converted into mere compost, which can help us to develop a new plant.

Do our bodies die, while our “energy” or “life force” lands in some other human or non-human life form, or maybe just float in space for all eternity?

In my opinion, I think that the life force of the dead being goes to either any human or a non-human life form. Hence, this might not float in space for eternity. In fact, based on the various analysis, in the case of a person, who moves to the state of dying, starts an acceptance on the part of their body, hence, they make a withdrawal the energy, under the pre-death vision, which is likely to be noted on the final dissipation of the soul.

Can multiple answers to this question from multiple people all be equally valid?

Multiple people give out multiple answers on the basis of their thinking. Thus, therefore, multiple people have multiple perspectives based on their ideas based on the eternal understanding of God. Therefore, Bible says that those who are following the words of Jesus will get the mercy of God and shall enter the gates of heaven. Apart from the many scholars and atheist who actually states that can have a single life, they are like the mere players here and continue developing their life in their own way. Thus, Churches follow the ethics that there is an afterlife and people whosoever dies for doing sins, have to face the gates of hell while following the words of God, which shall open the gate of Heaven.
